LocalHouse uses or may use artificial-intelligence tools to support its activities. This Notice explains the role of such tools and the main safeguards applied.

1. General principle
Artificial intelligence is used as a tool to support human activities. Operational and commercial decisions requiring judgement remain under the responsibility of LocalHouse and the people appointed by it.
2. Possible areas of use
AI tools may be used to support drafting, editing, translation or summarisation of text; creation and optimisation of content; organisation of information; analysis of data and performance; preparation of responses for customer support; and optimisation of administrative, technical or marketing activities.
3. Human oversight
Outputs produced with the assistance of AI may be reviewed, amended, supplemented or discarded by human personnel. LocalHouse does not regard AI output as automatically accurate, complete or appropriate to the relevant context.
4. Automated decision-making
Unless a specific notice concerning a particular service states otherwise, LocalHouse does not use AI systems to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning a user or similarly significantly affect them within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
5. Bookings and customer support
Any use of AI in communications or customer-support activities does not alter the booking terms, the Customer’s rights or contractual responsibilities. Complaints, disputes, refunds and other matters requiring judgement are handled with human oversight.
6. Personal data and confidentiality
Any processing of personal data through AI tools is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law. LocalHouse applies data-minimisation principles and, where possible, avoids using unnecessary personal data or particularly sensitive information in AI tools.
7. Transparency towards users
Where applicable law requires users to be informed that they are interacting directly with an AI system, or requires certain artificially generated or manipulated content to be identified, LocalHouse applies the relevant transparency measures to the specific use case.
8. AI-generated or AI-modified content
Synthetic or significantly AI-modified content is handled with due regard to context and the risk of confusion. LocalHouse avoids presenting facts, statements, images or circumstances as authentic where this could reasonably mislead users as to their origin or nature.
9. AI Act
LocalHouse takes into account Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), including transparency provisions applicable from 2 August 2026 to certain AI systems and uses. The obligations that apply in practice depend on LocalHouse’s role, the type of system and the specific way in which it is used.
10. Limitations
AI tools may produce inaccurate, incomplete or outdated results. Their output is therefore used as support and must not be interpreted, unless expressly stated otherwise, as individual professional advice or as a guarantee concerning the features of a property or service.
